Sous Chef wanted

Gistihúsið Lake Hotel Egilsstaðir needs a new team member in the kitchen.

As a Sous Chef you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Executive Chef in the overall operation of the kitchen. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency while adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. The Sous Chef will supervise kitchen staff, and maintain inventory levels.

Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes, portion sizes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs.

Housing can be a possibility if needed.
