Kormákur Máni Hafsteinsson or KOX, is a self-employed photographer in East Iceland. Kox has recently attracted special attention for his film photography and in the exhibition “Fjórðungur” he shows photos taken in East Iceland.
Kox specializes in film photography and all photos in the exhibit are taken around East Iceland. With film photography, KOX achieves a certain depth and intimacy that is difficult to achieve with digital photography. His images all have a certain character, a combination of the film photography and the photographer himself.

The exhibition is open July 2 – August 4, every day during the museum’s opening hours.
